A new graduate entry course for nursing students in New Zealand is attracting more men who want a career in the profession, according to research by Ara Institute of Canterbury.
The fast-track graduate course, which is offered by Ara and the University of Canterbury, is available for graduates with a health-related degree. It combines a Masters of Health Science at UC and a Bachelor of Nursing at Ara.
Announcing details, Ara nursing lecturer Isabel Jamieson said the course is “utterly unique in the way it bridges the two organisations and qualifications”.
