NZ’s winning bid for Asia-Pacific universities conference

New Zealand will host the Asia-Pacific region’s biggest and most influential international higher education policy conference at the University of Auckland in 2021.

The country’s eight universities were all involved in supporting the successful bid to host the Asia-Pacific Association for International Education conference. The event is expected to attract more than 2,000 delegates, chiefly from universities and government education departments.

It is the first year that the annual conference will held in NZ, and the event will focus on building stronger links between Asia and universities in Pacific Islands countries.
