Neal Curtis, associate professor in media and communications with the university’s arts faculty, suggests that climate change challenges “deeply held assumptions” about wealth and social privilege.

In an editorial published by the New Zealand independent online media outlet Newsroom, he says that climate change exposes human vulnerability and the myth that we are separate from the natural world.
