Pacific countries ‘struggle to deal with tourism waste’

Tourism is creating an increase in consumer waste products such as plastics that are difficult for Pacific Islands countries to manage, an Auckland University of Technology academic has said.

In a report written for the UN Environment Programme, Seadon looks at waste management challenges for small island developing nations.
