Waikato grant for bilingual guide to NZ wetlands conservation

Project aims to change public perceptions about ‘kidneys of our planet’

The University of Waikato has received a government grant to develop bilingual teaching materials and an online guide to wetlands ecology and conservation in New Zealand.

The $127,000 grant from the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment will fund a one-year project to produce educational resources that will be based on research by leading NZ environmental scientists.
