More corporate green jobs in NZ but few Māori staff, report says

   

Sustainability has grown in importance but diversity is lacking

Despite an increase in jobs for sustainability professionals in New Zealand over the past 20 years, the majority are city-based and only a small number of workers are Māori, according to a report co-authored by Auckland University of Technology.

The report is based on a survey of 130 people working in sustainability-related jobs, ranging from consultants and corporate services to research, business development and legal compliance.
