Interdisciplinary effort needed to establish regenerative agriculture in New Zealand, Landcare Research says
Developing regenerative agriculture in New Zealand will require a different approach to research and measuring outcomes, a report from Landcare Research has said.
“Linear” measurement and single-discipline research will need to be replaced by more complex and interdisciplinary work, the Crown Research Institute said in its report on 22 October. Innovation needs to come from sources other than scientists, and farmers will become partners in developing the new agriculture style.
