NZ$236 million allocated to research projects in areas including plastics recycling
New Zealand’s Endeavour Fund has distributed just over NZ$236 million in its latest round.
Universities, research organisations and industry put forward 443 applications, of which 71 were successful. The fund, administered by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, funded 20 larger-scale Research Programmes ranging from three to five years, worth up to NZ$14m each; and 51 Smart Ideas projects, worth around NZ$1m each over a maximum of three years.
