Three New Zealand centres share achievements including establishing Māori astronomical event as public holiday
The Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga Māori Centre of Research Excellence has said that its 2022 achievements included creating a government Māori research talent programme and hosting an international Indigenous research conference.
Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga is one of several CoREs that have released their 2022 annual reports in recent weeks. Its funding agreement was renewed in 2021, and 2022 was its 20th year of operation.
