Union criticises latest NZ government’s education policies

Tertiary Education Union unhappy with portfolio move and university free speech policy

Agreements made by New Zealand’s new coalition government contain “nothing” for the education sector, the Tertiary Education Union has claimed.

On 28 November the union said that putting the portfolio outside cabinet showed it was “a low priority”.
