Climate tops list of concerns among agriculture academics

Research investments should reflect importance of climate change and extreme weather, New Zealand study finds

New Zealand academics working in agriculture think climate change is the most important issue facing the nation.

A national stakeholder survey released by the Our Land and Water National Science Challenge this month found that climate change was twice as likely as any other issue to worry academics, businesses and policymakers in the agriculture sector when they were asked to name their top three.
