UK inventor James Dyson has funded a £1.4 million professorship in fluid mechanics at the University of Cambridge, reported the Guardian on 24 November.
The money will be provided over 10 years by the engineering company Dyson. Launching the professorship, Dyson is reported to have called for more scientists at the top of businesses.
