Fellowships for six women scientists

The Royal Society has announced the names of six female scientists who will receive Dorothy Hodgkin fellowships for 2011.

The scheme supports scientists and engineers at an early stage of their career. It is designed to help successful candidates progress to permanent academic positions across the UK. The fellowships are aimed specifically at researchers requiring a flexible working pattern and are particularly popular with women.
