Black student intake at Oxford ‘record high’

Oxford has accepted 32 black students for undergraduate study this year, which is the highest number in 10 years, The Guardian reported on 18 December.

The university has revealed that its acceptance rate for black students this year was 14 per cent, compared to 8.8 per cent per cent last year. The corresponding number for white students was 24.1 per cent.
