The House of Commons Home Affairs Select Committee has launched an inquiry into the government’s drugs strategy, published in December 2010. It will examine issues such as the independence and quality of expert advice and the criteria used by the government to measure the efficacy of its drug policies. The committee is asking for written evidence by 10 January.
