Prime Minister David Cameron has announced a £180 million “biomedical catalyst fund” to help universities and companies commercialise new drugs and treatments.
The fund was announced as part of the government’s life-sciences strategy on 5 December, developed by the Office for Life Sciences, based within the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, but coordinated by Number 10.
