Israeli postgrad wins right to have thesis remarked

Israeli postgraduate student Smadar Bakovic has won her battle to have her master’s degree thesis regraded after accusing her supervisor at the University of Warwick of “anti-Israel” prejudice, the Time Higher Education newspaper reports.

Bakovic was studying at the university’s department of politics and international studies when she complained about her supervisor, Nicola Pratt, having co-signed a letter to the Guardian calling for sanctions against Israel.
