Scientists predict end of the hunt for the Higgs Boson

Researchers at the Cern particle physics laboratory believe that they may finally have found evidence of the fundamental particle known as the Higgs Boson, the BBC reports.

Ahead of a meeting on 13 December when two separate research teams will announce their latest findings there is speculation that this may include proof of the existence of the elusive subatomic particle.
