The Higher Education Funding Council for England has named the universities of De Montfort, Exeter, Edinburgh and Kent among its partners for a £12.5 million national cloud computing project for improving research-data management by universities. In the project, HEFCE is working with the Joint Information Systems Committee to develop the national cloud infrastructure and supporting services.
