RSC president warns of ‘false dawn’ over Pfizer jobs

David Phillips, Royal Society of Chemistry president, has welcomed the news that 350 jobs will be saved at the Pfizer research centre at Sandwich, Kent, but has warned that the pharmaceutical base is still at risk following a decision by the company to sell the site and cut 2,400 jobs.
