Institute of Physics appoints Nobel prizewinners as Honorary Fellows

Last year’s Nobel prizewinners for physics, Andre Geim and Konstantin Novoselov from the University of Manchester, are among six newly appointed honorary fellows at the Institute of Physics.

The institute has also appointed Ian G Halliday, the former chief executive of the Particle Physics and Astronomy Research Council, and Carole Jordan, a former vice-president for the IOP and former president of the Royal Astronomical Society.
