Report warns of 7,000 more Defence Ministry job cuts

The Ministry of Defence is set to cut 7,000 more civilian posts by 2020, a letter seen by The Guardian says.

According to the newspaper, the letter, signed by the permanent secretary, Ursula Brennan, explains that cuts are necessary to reduce non-front line spending.
