Researchers in Residence scheme bites the dust

Research Councils UK is to stop funding its Researchers in Residence scheme from 13 January 2012 because it is “no longer able to deliver value for money”.

The public-engagement scheme, which has been running since 1994, places researchers in secondary schools to engage young people with research.
