Sir Arthur Clarke Award winners announced

The University of Strathclyde’s Advanced Space Concepts Laboratory has won the Sir Arthur Clarke Award for Achievement in Space Research, announced at the UK Space Conference on 5 July.

Other winners include the small spacecraft systems supplier Clyde Space, which won the award for Achievement in Space Commerce; space entrepreneur and former NASA employee David Thompson, for International Space Achievement; and the European Space Agency’s director of science, David Southwood, for Exceptional Space Achievement.
