BMJ warning over non-publication of trials data

An editorial in the British Medical Journal highlights the risks of not publishing negative or inconclusive results from clinical trials.

The article by Richard Lehman, senior research fellow in the department of primary care at the University of Oxford, and the BMJ’s clinical epidemiology editor, Elizabeth Loder, argues that non-publication is “a threat to the integrity of evidence-based medicine.”
