Indian magnate may train UK students

Azim Premji, head of the Indian software group Wipro, has told the Daily Telegraph that he is close to signing a deal with the UK government to train UK students at his company headquarters in Bangalore in subjects including IT, engineering and software development.

The programme would take third-year students from UK universities to India for three months’ study and nine months training.
