NC3R lists awards for limiting lab animal use

The National Centre for the Replacement, Refinement and Reduction of Animals in Research provided a total of 15 awards during 2011 under its PhD studentships scheme.

The scheme was introduced to embed the principle of limiting use of laboratory animals into the early training of researchers from a broad range of scientific disciplines.
