Agriculture strategy could come with cash

The government could allocate more money to agricultural science and technology research, according to George Freeman, Conservative MP for Mid Norfolk and architect of a forthcoming strategy on the subject.

Freeman, the government’s life sciences adviser, told Research Fortnight that the money might be allocated for postdoctoral training but that he could not give more specific details at this stage.
