AHRC peer reviewers gain influence

The Arts and Humanities Research Council will consult its Peer Review College more frequently and widely, according to its draft strategy for 2013-18, published on 14 October.

The AHRC says it will “use peer reviewers more frequently in an advisory and consultative capacity.” It also says it will “prioritise the continued development of responsive mode funding”, in accordance with its 2011-15 delivery plan. This previous plan committed the council to spending 72 per cent of its research funding on responsive mode schemes.
