MPs to question companies on sharing clinical trial data

The House of Commons Health Select Committee is to address the issue of pharmaceutical companies not publishing all data collected during clinical trials, the British Medical Journal reports.

The chairman of the committee and Conservative MP for Charnwood, Stephen Dorrell, told an NHS Alliance conference in Bournemouth on 22 November that the matter was “pretty close to the top of the list” of priorities for the committee.
