Tighter visa regulations for overseas student are having a negative impact on universities, Boris Johnson, the mayor of London, said during a visit to India.
Johnson said the number of Indian applicants for degrees has fallen 9 per cent this year and it looks as though it will fall further in 2013, BBC online has reported.
