Leverhulme Trust announces million-pound awards
The Leverhulme Trust has awarded thirteen £1 million grants to researchers in areas including drug designs for sleeping sickness, solar energy harvesting, local health inequalities in the age of austerity and improving productivity in public services. When applying for the Research Leadership Awards, institutions could nominate one candidate who was able to “demonstrate that the work of his or her research group would bring about a fruitful reshaping of the disciplinary landscape”.
