Willetts still committed to reform bill

Science minister David Willetts says the government is committed to the higher education reforms set out in its White Paper, despite reports that the higher education bill has been scrapped. Willetts called the reports on the bill, which would allow private providers to enter the market, “speculation” and said plans outlined in June’s higher education White Paper would go ahead.
