Government review calls on universities to do more to meet the needs of business

A government-commissioned review into university-industry relations in the UK, led by Tim Wilson, former vice-chancellor of the University of Hertfordshire, calls on UK universities to dispel the myth that they are not responding to the needs of business.

However, Wilson’s Review of Business–University Collaboration, published on 28 February, contains no overarching policy recommendation or proposals that would trouble the government’s wallet.
