Defra: evidence to develop impact assessments for rights of way reforms 2012/2013

The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs invites applications to tender for its evidence to develop impact assessments for rights of way reforms 2012/2013 call.

The purpose of this project is to collect sufficient information on the making of rights of way orders made under the Highway Act 1980 and Town and Country Planning Act 1990 to enable compilation of a robust assessment of the impact of proposals set out in the consultation package to improve the policy and legal framework for public rights of way consents. This call specifically aims to fill in the evidence gaps in the impact assessments as set out in the consultation document. Projects are expected to take place between 28 August 2012 and 10 January 2013. ERG 1203.
