Don’t try to push Tech City east, says think tank

The government should focus on supporting hi-tech firms already operating in the Tech City area rather than trying to encourage companies to move further east towards Stratford and the Olympic Park, a report from the Centre for London think tank has warned.

‘A Tale of Tech City’, published on 2 July, is the first in-depth research to take an independent look at the government’s Tech City project, through which it is attempting to support the growth of the hi-tech industry in the Old Street area of London.
