Oxford students from low income families to benefit from £75m gift

Philanthropists have donated £75 million to help undergraduates from low income families go to the University of Oxford, reported the Guardian on 11 July.

The donors of what the newspaper described as “the biggest philanthropic gift for undergraduate financial support in European history” are Michael Moritz, a venture capitalist based in the United States, and his novelist wife, Harriet Heyman.
