Work on Europe’s largest national reserve gets underway

Construction work has started on the largest human-made coastal reserve in Europe, located in Essex.

The project, led by the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds in collaboration with Crossrail, will provide 670 hectares of secure habitat for wildlife.
