Shabana Mahmood has taken over Chi Onwurah’s role as Labour’s shadow science minister. She will combine the role with her responsibilities as shadow universities minister. Onwurah will now shadow the Cabinet Office, covering cybersecurity, social entrepreneurship, civil contingency, open government and transparency.
