The Society for the Study of Medieval Languages and Literature invites submissions for the Medium Ævum essay prize, and its sponsorship for conferences and travel bursaries.
The Medium Ævum essay prize is awarded for the best essay on any topic that falls within the range of the society’s remit in the medieval period up to circa 1500, and is worth £250 with a further £250 provided to support attendance at a relevant conference of the winner’s choice.
