UK Space Agency to stay ‘lean and mean’

The UK Space Agency should not seek to copy the world’s larger space funders and should instead settle for a supporting role, its incoming chief executive has said.

David Parker is in his second week in the job after two months as acting chief executive. He says the UKSA’s role is to support industry and scientists, not to deliver space missions or build businesses like NASA or France’s CNES.
