Education is not just for young people, says Willetts

Older people should consider going to university to continue working beyond the official retirement age, according to universities minister David Willetts.

According to a report in The Guardian, Willetts, speaking to journalists in India, said there is “certainly a pressure for continuing to get retrained and upskilled. Higher education has an economic benefit in that if you stay up to date with knowledge and skills, you are more employable.”
