The Food Standards Agency invites applications to tender for its call on improving the understanding of the factors that lead to E. coli O157 shedding by cattle and interventions strategies for on-farm control.

Proposals should focus on research that will improve the understanding of E. coli O157 excretion by cattle and the supershedding phenomenon, and how this pathogen can be controlled on-farm.
