Hepi backs flexible learning

Higher education should abandon the “binary divide” between full-time and part-time higher education, a report published by the Higher Education Policy Institute has said.

The report, published on 21 March and written by University of Greenwich vice-chancellor David Maguire, says that institutions should instead cultivate a more nuanced understanding of students as individuals and consider implementing flexible learning frameworks for credit accumulation and transfer.
