Matching service for teachers and researchers gets under way

A brokerage service to help practising teachers make use of education research will launch in 11 schools later this month.

Headteachers and teachers who call the service will speak to a trained broker who will be able to direct them either to research resources online, connect them with researchers in the field, or refer them to practitioners who have already addressed the relevant area.

Examples of subjects that could be addressed include gender attainment and how best to deliver feedback.
