How an AHRC Creative Clusters grant could give Cardiff’s screen industries top billing
Cardiff’s screen-based industries are already flourishing and now they are poised to take things to the next level. This is in no small part thanks to Justin Lewis, professor of communication at Cardiff University, who led one of the winning bids in the Arts and Humanities Research Council’s Creative Clusters scheme.
Clwstwr Creadigol—‘creative cluster’ in Welsh—which started work in October 2018, won £5.7 million from the AHRC, with additional funding from sources including the City of Cardiff Council and Arts Council Wales.
