Life sciences companies in the UK are “struggling” to attract data talent, at a time when such skills are needed in the sector, a report has revealed.

The pharmaceutical industry is increasingly adopting new digital tools such as artificial intelligence (AI) to support drug discovery and development. But it is difficult for pharmaceutical companies to find and attract workers with the necessary skills, according to a report by the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry, published on 8 June.
