Around 173,000 new engineering jobs predicted by 2030 in report commissioned by EngineeringUK
Demand for engineers is set to grow faster than for other occupations in the UK, a report has predicted.
The report, commissioned by the advocacy body EngineeringUK, says that engineering jobs are set to grow by 2.8 per cent by 2030, adding 173,000 new roles in the area. This is a faster growth rate than that projected for the national average of all occupations, which is 2.3 per cent.
