Plan offers support for neglected group of researchers
The N8 group of research-focused universities in the north of England has set out a plan to improve the working lives of mid-career researchers.
N8 said that staff who have established themselves as independent researchers, but have not yet attained the status of professor, can have needs and problems that are often overlooked.
