The Royal Society has announced 18 recipients of its Wolfson Research Merit Awards, providing five years of funding at a host university at which the award holder stays afterwards on a permanent post.
The award scheme is funded jointly by the Wolfson Foundation and the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills. The funding will go to pay rises of between £10,000 and £30,000 per year.
